I highly recommend keeping an Israeli bandage in your trauma or med kit. For a major bleed, this is one of the best bandages to have (in addition to a tourniquet).

I have used these in training, and they seem well-constructed. Great to have on hand. Put one in every T-kit: home, back-pack, range bag, every vehicle, go-bag, etc. Hope I never need them.

I keep giving them to friends & family that are clueless on preparedness, so I will probably keep buying more of these.
